The BUILT Safety Toe Work Boot is the culmination of that effort.

In 2011 we built a timber frame factory in the woods of Maine. We found the old timers to show us the old ways. We did what had to be done. We dug deep in the ground and in our hearts. We brought back what was forgotten. The people remembered why they used to be makers. “The world’s best”, that’s what American Made used to mean. Here’s the secret... it still does.

We source our materials and components close to home. From brass eyelets, to laces and thread, everything is sourced domestically. Proving the American supply chain is still very much alive. Have comfort that your boots are 100% Made in America, without compromise.

Great Boots! Many Complements!

Really nice boots, switched over from Redwing boots to these and I’m not going back. I do heavy industrial construction building Combined Cycle Gas Plants and these boots get me through the 10-12+ Hour days on my feet. Outstanding product from a great organization!

Overall these boots are very good. A bit stiff the first few times I wore them but have broken in very quickly. I am very satisfied with the support and quality these boots offer. Very solid boots that should last for quite a while.

I’ve had these boots for roughly 2mo now. I wear them roughly 40hrs+ a week and work as a Paramedic/Rescue Technician. I’ve worn these boots during multiple rescue situations and dropped some heavy equipment on them a couple times; the safety toes held up and the leather has no blemishes! Very solid boots and they have just about broken in now. The quality of these boots is superb! Thick, palpable leather with excellent quality stitching and a great amount of support. Wearing the things make you feel ready for anything, and the weight isn’t too bad either. The tread on the boots is great; no bad slippage on oil or other slick substances save ice. They hold up great in snow/mud/rocky terrain too. Origin did an incredible job with these boots, they are clearly built for a lifetime. My only critique: the lace hooks at the top bend fairly easily and I wish there were more options. A zipper insert like Redwing or Haix would be incredible. Often times at night I find myself switching to my older boots since I take them off to sleep between calls but can’t lace them fast enough to get up and out like I need to. Origin, make zipper inserts or a side zipper option! The entire Fire/EMS/Law Enforcement system would love it!
