The BUILT Safety Toe Work Boot is the culmination of that effort.

In 2011 we built a timber frame factory in the woods of Maine. We found the old timers to show us the old ways. We did what had to be done. We dug deep in the ground and in our hearts. We brought back what was forgotten. The people remembered why they used to be makers. “The world’s best”, that’s what American Made used to mean. Here’s the secret... it still does.

We source our materials and components close to home. From brass eyelets, to laces and thread, everything is sourced domestically. Proving the American supply chain is still very much alive. Have comfort that your boots are 100% Made in America, without compromise.

I like these boots

Had the built boots for about a month and a half. Took me about two weeks to get them really broken in. Now they are good to go and very comfortable. I’m in commercial hvac service. I do a considerable amount of walking, climbing ladders and crawling around on all fours. The boots are very well made and I’m really happy with my purchase. Yeah they’re expensive, but not really a whole lot more than the Chinese made boots I used to get. I’m generally not too hard on shoes, so the Chinese ones I replaced I’d hade for five years. I’m betting that these origin boots will last me 8-10 years if I take care of them. Go ahead and get yourself some, you won’t be disappointed.

I’m a transmission lineman, I’m clubbing poles walking in all different land scape. Mini lug is great. Feet feel great and knees after work. Good pair of boots can change the way you feel after 10hours of work. Thank you for making a great boot. Thanks for all the hard work.
