Story of the Lincoln Boot

The Lincoln Boot features a supple, chrome tanned leather we helped develop. This toe-capped boot has classic lines, and a light luster. It’s a boot that will undeniably garner attention. Your feet will feel at home the first time you slip them on.

In 2011 we built a timber frame factory in the woods of Maine. We found the old timers to show us the old ways. We did what had to be done. We dug deep in the ground and in our hearts. We brought back what was forgotten. The people remembered why they used to be makers. “The world’s best”, that’s what American Made used to mean. Here’s the secret... it still does.

All our leather is tanned right here in Maine, 45 minutes from the Origin boot factory. We source our materials and components close to home. From brass eyelets, to laces and thread, everything is sourced domestically. Proving the American supply chain is still very much alive. Have comfort that your boots are 100% Made in America, without compromise.

Factory Blockchain

At Origin, our promise is Made in America Without Compromise. That means we exhaust exhaust all efforts to source every major and minor material, fiber and component in America, even if it takes longer or the cost is higher. On occasions, we've found America has lost certain manufacturing abilities, and we are unable to make a component here. When this happens, we look to countries close by for support, but we also put out a call to arms to help us find or restore that part of the supply chain. Sometimes, we buy factories, re-shore old machines and make it ourselves. The Origin Factory Blockchain is a transparent look at where every part of your garment or footwear comes from.

Strong enough for Detroit
Posted by Sam H on Apr 3rd 2022
I work outside year round in Detroit and wear these bad boys to work, for weekend projects, and shine them up for church; I’m not exaggerating that’s exactly how I use them. I abuse products while I use them, but clean them up and do basic maintenance afterwards and that seems to suffice for these boots. The boots are absolutely worth the money, they look better now than they did brand new out of the cool branded box. I bought a half size smaller than I usually would and the leather has ever so slightly expanded to perfection. Outstanding job, Origin. I am now a customer for life.
Great boots but a little tight

Great packaging, great looking boot but just a little snug even after I’ve worn them out and about several times. I purchase all my shoes in 10.5 but my suggestion would be to go up a 1/2 size from what you normally wear.
The Lincoln Boot 1861

I just received my boots from Origin. These are the best made boots that I have ever owned, the boot is sturdy as every good leather boot should be and the build quality is fantastic. My mom's brother was a cobbler in Europe and I used to visit his shop when I was a kid. I have to mention that I showed them to my now 80 year old mom, sister of the cobbler, and she was extremely impressed, and she is not easily impressed by much now a days. These boots took me back to my childhood when quality products where made by tradesmen who took pride in the products they produced. Origin, you have made a fan out of me and I will promote your company and quest for quality products to whomever will listen. I want to thank your workers for this product, I want them to know that what they are building is making a difference and bringing back American craftsmanship! Take care and keep up the good work!
