Story of the Lincoln Boot

The Lincoln Boot features a supple, chrome tanned leather we helped develop. This toe-capped boot has classic lines, and a light luster. It’s a boot that will undeniably garner attention. Your feet will feel at home the first time you slip them on.

In 2011 we built a timber frame factory in the woods of Maine. We found the old timers to show us the old ways. We did what had to be done. We dug deep in the ground and in our hearts. We brought back what was forgotten. The people remembered why they used to be makers. “The world’s best”, that’s what American Made used to mean. Here’s the secret... it still does.

All our leather is tanned right here in Maine, 45 minutes from the Origin boot factory. We source our materials and components close to home. From brass eyelets, to laces and thread, everything is sourced domestically. Proving the American supply chain is still very much alive. Have comfort that your boots are 100% Made in America, without compromise.

At Origin, our promise is Made in America Without Compromise. That means we exhaust exhaust all efforts to source every major and minor material, fiber and component in America, even if it takes longer or the cost is higher. On occasions, we've found America has lost certain manufacturing abilities, and we are unable to make a component here. When this happens, we look to countries close by for support, but we also put out a call to arms to help us find or restore that part of the supply chain. Sometimes, we buy factories, re-shore old machines and make it ourselves. The Origin Factory Blockchain is a transparent look at where every part of your garment or footwear comes from.

Lincoln Boot Mini-Lug

These boots took a while to come in, but my expectations were exceeded. Great craftsmanship and extremely durable. Like any boot, they need to be broken in, but once broken in, they are very comfortable and provide a lot of support. I envision these boots will last a lifetime if cared for properly.

My daughter's wedding date was approaching and I was in the market for a pair of boots. The wedding theme was casual dress and all the groomsmen were were boots. Not being a fan of the regular style cowboy boots, I turned to Origin. I had been eyeing the Lincoln boots in black but for the wedding they needed to be brown. I printed out the sizing template and ordered away. I was concerned they would blister my feet and wouldn't be comfortable. I wore them every chance I could leading up to the wedding. I wore them about 11hrs on the wedding day! These are the absolute most comfortable boot I had the privilege of wearing. I'm now looking into a black pair and the Built boot for work. My son, just entered the work force and I'm trying to get him hooked on them as well. Keep up the great work! I'm a customer for life!

Couldn't be happier with these boots. I had a sizing issue but Origin exchanged without issue. I wear 10.5 in a Merrel, Keen, Dinner and also a 10.5 in the Lincoln, so take that for what it cost ya. If you have never worn a new leather boot, be advised you will want to break them in.
