Story of the Lincoln Boot

The Lincoln Boot features a supple, chrome tanned leather we helped develop. This toe-capped boot has classic lines, and a light luster. It’s a boot that will undeniably garner attention. Your feet will feel at home the first time you slip them on.

In 2011 we built a timber frame factory in the woods of Maine. We found the old timers to show us the old ways. We did what had to be done. We dug deep in the ground and in our hearts. We brought back what was forgotten. The people remembered why they used to be makers. “The world’s best”, that’s what American Made used to mean. Here’s the secret... it still does.

All our leather is tanned right here in Maine, 45 minutes from the Origin boot factory. We source our materials and components close to home. From brass eyelets, to laces and thread, everything is sourced domestically. Proving the American supply chain is still very much alive. Have comfort that your boots are 100% Made in America, without compromise.

Amazing boots, looks better than I expected. Wore them to work and got a lot of compliments, I’ve been wearing them daily since I received them, and they’ve gotten more and more comfortable each day. Couldn’t recommend them more. Will be buying the bison boot soon.

    Best boots I’ve had

The boots are super sturdy, wicked durable, and I love how well they conform to my foot. I’ve used them at work, taken them on hikes, and just daily walking around the city. These shoes are mad comfortable, and I highly recommend this investment!

    The Lincoln Boot

These are well made boots that will last forever. I ordered a size 12 D regular width which is what I normally wear in a boot. My only issue is in line with what other customers have stated, they tend to run a touch small. My boots are a little tight in the width. Hopefully they will loosen up after they break in period.

If a grizzly bear and sheep had a baby, that comfort and strength I feel in these boots. Merica

    Outstanding Boots

These boots fit out of the box. After one wearing the started to break in and I have worn them every day for the past 3 weeks. Extremely comfortable!! I’ve received many compliments on how they look. I had them shined for for a trip at the Mohammad Ali Airport in Louisville, the guy there complimented me on the quality of the leather and workmanship. Was impressed that they were made in America. Great job Origin.

    Fine workmanship

I have been a red wing heritage owner for years. A co-worker who also always wears red wing iron rangers showed me the website and encouraged me to "give them a chance". I got a lot of compliments wearing them, and the co-worker who suggested them wants to liberate them from my locker. lol. They are comfortable out of the box, unlike iron ranger which takes a few days to break in. I wear 9-9.5 in red wing and got these in 9.5 and probably should have went with 10. But they are fine with normal thickness socks. I hope they offer mail in re-sole option like red wing. I have not thrown out a pair of red wings in 25 years, because of their mail in repair shop. These boots are constructed well enough to survive re-sole a few times. I am going to order either same pair in black or a pair of the Bison next.

    Made in America

I have been looking forward to Origin’s boot line since it was announced last year. I wanted a great boot for work that can handle the conditions on the job site but clean up and look good for a night out. The Lincoln 1863 has been the perfect choice! After a few days of break-in, these boots have molded to my feet and feel great. Sizing was good for me and overall craftsmanship and stitching is top notch. I really appreciate the “Made in America without Compromise” attitude and I get a sense of pride putting these on in the mornings when starting the day. Keep up the great work Origin!

They seem to run a touch small and narrow out of the box but appear to be breaking in nicely. Still not roomy enough to wear with thick socks. I went with the wipple soles and wasn’t thinking long term. Will be interesting to see if they offer repairs in the future like red wing. Overall super high quality material and craftsmanship. Wish I went half size up
