    Comfortable Compression Shorts

Posted by MichaelL on Dec 14th 2021

Bought an XL pair. I'm ~36 waist and they fit comfortably (as per title). They are compression gear, so expect to be hugged where you want to be hugged and space where you expect some room. After a few bike rides, some of the material on the front left thigh (the snake) has pilled slightly, but I guess that's to be expected if you're actually using these and not just hanging them on the wall to read. Unlike other so-called underwear, these have a built-in detection system that alerts you if you've fallen off The Path and started to let your waistline slip. The wide elastic waistband's push-up avoidance system, coupled with the optical reflector in your bathroom, lets you know when it is time to go after it harder. Four stars rather than five because no underwear, no matter how cool, is field marshal level.

Comfy to wear, but no hole in the front is a big minus. Men will know what I’m talking about.
