Construction is fantastic, the hood is great, love the zipper pouch, super warm on nasty windy and rainy days. My only complaint is that the tapering on the bottom of the hoodie at the waist for the xs is really disproportionate to the fit of the rest of the hoodie. It seems that the length of it should hit me mid hip/glute since I’m only 5’5”, but because I have a developed butt (thanks to deadlifts and squats) it’s too tight to wear comfortably there without constantly pulling it down (and then it hugs me like a bodycon dress around my hips & not exactly the fit I was going for). If I wear it at my waist where it’s totally large enough, the torso bunches ridiculously. If I sized up I think it would be too large through the chest and shoulders.

When I first opened the package, there were no nasty chemical odors. After wearing this hoodie for several months during the fall and winter, I can confidently say it’s comfortable and warm. I’ve paired it with either the Origin Core or RTX as a base layer while walking the dog, cutting wood, shoveling snow, and even checking trail cameras in temperatures as low as 25°F. It kept me plenty warm. The sweatshirt has held up well after washing it a few times following the instructions. I’m 5’8” and weigh 180 lbs, and I initially ordered a large. Next time, I’ll opt for a medium. This hoodie is of the highest quality I’ve ever worn! Just be aware that the waist is snug when putting it on or taking it off—there are no draft areas to allow cold air in. ❄️🔥

The panel design as great, the fit is great, it keeps me warm.

It’s a good pullover with one main pocket.

Less than a year into having this, the zipper for the zippered pocket failed. I reached out to Origin for some guides and help repairing the zipper. It’s been about 6 months since contacting them, I have not received a reply.

I was hoping to purchase other items that were made in America, but I’ll hoping for better customer service from Origin.

I had a local alteration place replace the zipper.
