I've been wearing cargo pants most of my life and was excited to try these out. I've been wearing some version of 5.11 tactical pant for over 15 years now and although the 5.11's have some additional features, I'll be phasing them out for Origin pants. These pants are super light, but still feel like they will probably outlast my prior choice. Being light also makes them a lot cooler than I'm used to, so I've been able to wear these on days that I would normally have to switch to shorts. Most importantly, they are made in the USA. Nothing against 5.11 or what every country is producing their products, but I'd prefer to support workers in my country.
