Story of The 6" BUILT Boot

What do we mean when we say we're bringing manufacturing back to America?
From resurrecting the local knowledge, to bringing the machinery back into this country -- the 6" BUILT Safety Toe Work Boot is the culmination of that effort.

ASTM F2413 certified:

These boots are BUILT for those who work.

In 2011 we built a timber frame factory in the woods of Maine. We found the old timers to show us the old ways. We did what had to be done. We dug deep in the ground and in our hearts. We brought back what was forgotten. The people remembered why they used to be makers. “The world’s best”, that’s what American Made used to mean. Here’s the secret... it still does.

We source our materials and components close to home. From brass eyelets, to laces and thread, everything is sourced domestically. Proving the American supply chain is still very much alive. Have comfort that your boots are 100% Made in America, without compromise.

This new 6" version provides a shorter hybrid leather upper for increased comfort and movement. It is also available in either Carbon or Whiskey colors as well as your choice of Big Lug or NEW certified slip resistant ALPHA sole.

Craftsmanship at its Finest

I recently purchased my first pair of leather boots and I couldn't be happier with the quality and feel. The smell of the leather when I first opened the box was unforgettable and let me know right away that these were a high-quality product. What's more, I was amazed at how comfortable they were right out of the box - no breaking in required! The boots immediately formed to my feet and provided excellent support and traction thanks to the aggressive lug tread pattern. Whether I'm hiking through rough terrain or just wearing them around town, these boots have quickly become my go-to.

For me, this was a big spend. I had been searching for a higher quality, more durable, more comfortable boot for over a year. Many options to choose from, I have used low-end Walmart to Redwing, and Danner. Sourced in the USA tilted the scales for me to pull the trigger. It took a minute to get here. A completely different feel from any other boot I’ve used. SO COMFORTABLE. I have had them for a month now, and use them daily. So far, they are performing great and I am pleased with the purchase.

The boots are built solid, the sole in the front is screwed in. I needed a minimal time to break them in. They are very comfortable and the fit was correct.
