Just got my Origin work books, I am so glad I took the time to print out and use their sizing guide. The size it told me I needed was slightly different than what I would normally wear in a boot or shoe. I ordered using what they recommended and this boot is a PERFECT fit out of the box.

You can tell as soon as you open the box that these boots are meant for real work. High quality leather and craftsmanship. I am happy I chose to spend the extra money for a high quality Made in the USA boot instead of getting another pair of timberlands that just seem to fall apart.

I’ll update this review as they break in, but so far so good. I wouldn’t expect anything less from a company associated with Jocko Willink.

I'm a professional FF from Jersey who wanted to support an American boot brand and from my research this is the closest you're gonna get. I was tired of the typical tactical boots that needed to be replaced sometimes twice a year. I wanted something better built and also resoleable which led me to Origin. I've only had them for 3-4 shifts but I can say they are extremely comfortable and well built. I believe they also compliment the uniform but of course that's subjective. If I had to do it over I would go a half size down because the wide model offers tons of room. The speed hooks help a ton when we get a box but of course they aren't as fast as a zipper but definitely more durable. While the foam insole is comfortable I generally prefer leather insoles because they mold to your foot better. All in all I'm very happy with the purchase especially for the price.
